I think we all have to strive for balance. A bit of money and a bit of confidence. I’m also trying to save $100k – $200k before I quit my day job so that I know I have a financial cushion to fall back on.

I want to start my own business and I believe that being able to save a net worth of over 260k while I am 31 (me and my husband together) I would also be the type of person that would thrive or, at least, survive by creating my own company/my own income. Nevertheless, I would feel more confident trying that knowing that I have a passive income that would allow at least to cover my basic expenses, which I currently do not have right now. At some point maybe I should stop being rational and just do it!
