This idea of failures falling behind and successes being naturally sorted to the top became clear and really actionable for me after reading your, “You Are The Only One Tracking Your Failures” article. Thanks for that! 🙂

That’s a great quote and it does capture the essence of this post – someone who fails 99 times and succeeds 1 time will still be ahead of someone who never tries at all.

That’s funny, people ask me the same things – how I learn so many random skills. Just being willing to fail a lot is a huge advantage in life. If you’re comfortable with not doing something right the first time, you’ll learn so much faster than everyone around you. And yepp, I find that writing every day also builds up my creative muscles. Ideas come to me a lot more easily than they used to 🙂

Brett Favre is another great example. Not too many people remember his interceptions, only his passing yards and touchdowns. Another classic example that successes stick and failures fade.

Definitely give it a try! You might have to shift your schedule around, but you might be surprised at how easy it can be when you set a specific time each day to write 🙂
