I think the key is exactly what you mentioned – progress. As long as we’re moving forward in some way, no matter how small our progress may be, we’re still inching closer to our goals. Also, progress is addictive so even a small step forward can keep us on the path to our goals 🙂

During those times, I focus on making some sort of progress and not moving backward. I completely agree that so much in life involves patience-it’s hard!

Too often I get irritated that I’m not meeting my goals, but the reality is that I’m messing around and hoping things will come around without the effort. Oops! I’ve started using the Pomodoro method to stay on top of my side hustle to-dos as well as household chores. It’s been great for managing my time and staying productive–with time for vegging out included. 🙂
