How to get to the island? By flight Most convenience and easiest way to across over peninsular Malaysia is by flight. Flight can be taken from KLIA or LCCT. Journey from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu will took only around 45 minutes. Upon arriving, do get a taxi or our land transfer to Merang jetty.

By drive Approximately 6 to 8 hour drive from Kuala Lumpur to Merang jetty via Karak Highway, East-Coast Expressway (LPT) and Terengganu coastal road.

By bus Bus services from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu are between RM 30.00 - RM 40.00 per trip, depending on bus operator and holiday season. In Kuala Lumpur, bus can be taken from Terminal Putra, opposite PWTC. In Kuala Terengganu, its bus terminal located in the middle of town. Upon arriving, do get a taxi or land transfer to Merang jetty.
